It is always interesting to cross the Tasman and to find similar icons/important people. I remember being in Albany and reading the history of that town. All the people seemed so familiar and the stories of whalers and sealers hinted at crossings/relationships and association we don’t hear about in our school histories.
So it was interesting to find Nicholas Chevalier in GoMa.
The same dramatic seascapes and sort of longing for ‘home’.
