20140512-084010.jpgWar memorials dot the landscapes of NZ and Australia. They can be seen in parks, on roundabouts, in open fields and town centres.

Some now are in the middle of roads that bifurcate or in side roads. Every small town or district seems to have sent at least 10 young men away.

So, it was with interest that I viewed the Lawrence Aberhart exhibition ANZAC the Dunedin Public Art Gallery and enjoyed the selenium toned silver gelatin prints, some with a spot of gold in the processing that gave them a lustrous glow.

Worth a look.
