She was in Gdansk exhibiting at a show called Narracje. Her work, Dreaming of Summer, was part of the show curated by Rob Garrett.
Juliette’s full installation was a remembrance of the 733 Polish children who arrived at a camp outside a small town called Paihiatua in New Zealand, after the war. This year, of course, is the 70th anniversary and the Polish Community is doing some remembering itself.
It was pleasant to sleep beside some of the leaves that evoked the children.
